We recall that not-so-distant YESTERDAY. What were the “Resi” calendars like years ago? Once upon a time, they were handy notes for preparing delicious meals. They came with interesting cooking recipes — do you remember them? TODAY, we already have thousands of cooking tutorials online. For a few years, they were wall calendars proudly displayed somewhere visible in the house. More recently, they’ve become desk calendars with attractive images and inspiring phrases. For TOMORROW, in the coming year 2026, we’ll enjoy cheerful images of children accompanied by famous quotes dedicated to them.
But a calendar is not made for YESTERDAY. It is a tool for the present and the future. It helps us plan our schedules and anticipate upcoming events. In our case, it also serves to raise funds while reminding us, month by month, that our Children’s Home needs support TODAY for the care of the children, and will need sufficient funding TOMORROW for our new building. We live the present with hope. Thank you for remembering the future with us.
