RIE presents: MIMOLOGOS,
a performance by Carlos Martínez
A very special charity event, in which a leading figure in the world’s oldest theatrical art form offers his art in support of R.I.E. – Residencia Infantil Emmanuel, and the ALPAN Programme providing community meals in Barcelona.
In this performance, both the art and the artist appear without makeup, completely exposed, offering a tandem of gestures and words—a meeting between silence and voice. Carlos Martínez will be our guide, presenting his unique exhibition of paintings made of air, creating them live before our eyes and sharing some of the many details contained within his work.
A performance that will not fix the world, but will give the audience renewed strength and restore their faith in improving the human condition.
