Back to School. After the long summer holidays, here we have some of our children on their second day of school. After more than two months, we can tell they have grown a little. They have a lot to share about their summer adventures. Most are believable. All are exciting. The backpack and the umbrella they carry help them face reality: the holidays are over.
We are glad to open our doors and welcome them back. This school year comes with few changes compared to the last one. We continue meeting with families who ask us for help and assessing their situations. If the necessary requirements are met, perhaps a few more children will join us in the coming weeks. Many thanks to all our friends, partners, volunteers, and donors for being there by our side, giving meaning and strength to our work. Happy new school year!
PRAYER TOPICS
(1) We continue praying for each child as the new school year begins.
(2) We ask for each child’s family, that God may lay His hand upon them.
(3) We pray for the educators and the board of RIE.
