The 2024-2025 school year has entered the home straight. The finishing line will be crossed this month on 20th of June. Even before we get there we will start to see a few results, both positive and negative. The culmination of 10 months of marshalling resources, setting targets, setting the right pace, giving rewards… And now we just need a last push in this arm wrestling. Do we have the strength for it?
Our children and teenagers have had to push back against the academic challenges of whatever grade they’re in. And manage whatever individual difficulties they each have. The challenge of acquiring good habits and better attitudes. Of overcoming illnesses along the way. Of living in harmony and getting on well with all the others. There have been moments when the opposing forces seemed too strong. But it’s finally time to reap what has been sown.
