The last month of the year! December is similar to September. It feels like we have only half the month to get things done. Just half a month of school. And only half a month of vacation… A new page in our lives beckons. September marked the start of the academic year. Now December will usher in a new calendar year. To help us adapt to these changes, the festive season invites us to take a pause from all our endeavours, plan new goals, and get fired up to achieve them.
At school, our children have special pre-Christmas activities added to the general routine of their lessons. And here in our Home, the “Resi”, we enjoy various visits and celebrations as part of the build up to Christmas, the New Year, and the “Kings” (wise men) bringing gifts at Epiphany. With the first term over, we get to recharge our batteries to forge ahead with the rest of the school year. Just like in September, we’ll make resolutions to do things a bit better, as we transition to a new time period. We’ll step into the new year. We’ll carry on growing.
