Preparing a short video means drawing up a little script, with its plot, dialogues and setting. Sending greetings for the new year 2025 is something we all do but, of course, any video needs an original touch. As children and teenagers in the context of Europe’s chilly winter weather, the children’s take on their greeting has been to wish us good health. Although there’s also a “hidden message” in the images about what the “wise men” (that traditionally, in Spain, are the ones that bring Christmas gifts, not Santa Claus) might like to bring the children.
This “video-greetings-card” is also a good excuse for creating a nice memento of our nine charges. It’s great to have a video reminder of what their faces and voices were like around Christmas 2024. Their voice tones and features will gradually change. It will be interesting in a few years time to dig out the video and see how they have altered. Right now, in this new year our aim is to encourage them to keep changing for the better. Thank you for your help in this endeavour.
