They’ve passed!

School reports will soon be telling us what final marks each student has obtained at the end of their year at primary or secondary school. We’ll know what level they’ve reached in all their different subjects, such as maths, nature studies, social studies, civic awareness, Catalan, Spanish, English, P.E., biology, physics, chemistry… each according to their age group.

But there are other, different subjects which the children here at our Home, the “Resi”, have been learning. They include disciplines such as… not wasting time, getting enough sleep, eating well, looking after personal hygiene, making their bed, greeting people politely, keeping on good terms with everybody, loving their mum and dad, respecting the carers, having a healthy level of self esteem, being a problem solver and not a problem causer, and so on. In all of these “major subjects”, that are so tremendously important, we are pleased to inform you that THEY HAVE PASSED!
