Putting ignorance behind us
At all stages of our lives, there are lots of things that we’re ignorant about. For little children it’s almost everything. As teenagers, we have to begin to select what subjects we take. There’s far too much subject matter and not enough time to study it all. But we do need to start putting ignorance behind us. And as young adults we have to choose some specialist subject, to be able to earn a living. And then, later on in life, we’ll probably need to retrain and keep on studying. A healthy mind will always want to learn new things. Also, as we get older, not only will we be learning, we will also have much to teach those following in our footsteps, not just from what we’ve studied, but also from all of our life experiences.
Prayer topics
(1) *** We are very grateful to God for all the assistance to the children and their families which He has allowed us to provide over 2023, in spite of all the challenges and difficulties.
(2) *** We pray that in 2024 we will continue to be able to serve children that need our help.
(3) *** We also pray that 2024 will be a significant year for our Emmanuel Children’s Home, with all the changes and developments which our organisation needs.
