A fab night out

Joaquim Pujol and his wife Mercedes López are a lovely married couple who are tremendously supportive of our Home, the “Resi”. They are involved in promoting cinema showings of films with a Christian message. On the third Wednesday of each month we get to enjoy an interesting movie with them. It’s a fab night out. How could we possibly miss seeing such classics as “The Restless Ones”, “The Cross and the Switchblade” and other more recent Christian films.

Over the year commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation we have seen biographies of outstanding reformers and missionaries such as Luther, John Wycliffe, Hudson Taylor… To relive their awe-inspiring stories in front of a big screen is a wonderful night out. We are very grateful also to Dani Cantón at the Méliès Cinema (c. Villarroel 102, Barcelona) for all his friendliness and kindness towards our teenagers.
